With the stress of today's world, Sunrise Springs has appeal as the ideal location to recharge, refresh, relax and re-focus. Many group meetings and retreats have taken on special meaning at Sunrise Springs.

 

Whether you are planning your next board meeting or a group retreat, Sunrise Springs offers you the combination of gracious meeting spaces, beautiful grounds and a restoring array of amenities. Our professional staff has the experience to anticipate the many details of planning your meeting.

Retreats

Our secluded resort setting is tranquil and contemplative, while at the same time comfortable and spacious. The renowned Blue Heron Restaurant provides natural, local and organic cuisine for all of our groups. Customize your retreat with a Japanese Tea Ceremony, spa treatments, Yoga, Tai Chi or Raku pottery class.

 

In the winter months , the quiet of our sanctuary gives way to the sounds of our native wildlife. Our fireplaces are lit, and hot teas and cocoas abound. Enjoy our beautiful grounds no matter what the changing season is.

Facilities

Sunrise Springs has more than 7,500 square feet of meeting space and even more flexibility. Our spaces are airy and filled with light. Banks of windows look out on the ponds, the garden or the Sangre de Cristo mountains.

 

The Atrium seats up to 210 people theatre style or 136 banquet style in our largest space (2500 sq. ft.). It accommodates 30 - 60 for movement instruction. It has a built-in wood dance floor and stereo system with microphone capabilities.

 

The Aspen comfortably seats 20 guests at a central table boardroom style in an elegant setting with an additional sitting area and with a Japanese fireplace.

 

The Moon House seats 40 - 56 for dining or /conference style seating. Its wall of windows overlook both natural spring fed ponds beyond. In good weather, including patio space, we can accommodate 80 for a banquet.

 

The Willows is a two-story building with a great deal of flexibility. The second floor seats 50 theater style, 20 conference style and 20-30 for yoga instruction. The first floor seats 40 for dining, and can be used as a break-out room. The outdoor patio can be used for additional dining.

 

The Ceremony Circle is a beautiful circular space located outside, surrounded by age-old cottonwood trees, and has a stunning view of the entire property. With four tiers of banco seating, it is perfect for live entertainment for your attendee's enjoyment. Many celebrations have tented this area as a ceremony space, dancing area, or for special brunches or dinners.
